Juno award-winning singer, songwriter and percussionist.

Many know Julie as the percussionist and vocalist from the gold and platinum award-winning band The Parachute Club. She was a co-writer of several of the band’s songs and toured extensively throughout Canada, Europe, Jamaica and the USA performing for live audiences.

Today she is a sought after talent.  After leaving the Parachute Club she worked with popular artists such as Bruce Cockburn, Dan Hill, Alannah Myles, Annie Lennox, Sarah MacLachlan and David Foster. Her soulful & sultry voice can be heard on many recordings for artists such as Dan Hill, Bruce Cockburn, Shirley Eikhard, Alannah Miles, Leonard Cohen and Ken Whiteley.

Now living in Kelowna Julie performs and records regularly with the many talented musicians here and across Canada. Popular duo Le Mo Nay—Julie Masi & Steve Soucy—are professional  entertainers performing many concerts throughout the year at local wineries, special events and galas.

In 2010 Julie’s husband of 32 years succumbed to Prostate Cancer.  In his honor Julie organized a Winnipeg Social in Kelowna to raise Prostate Cancer Awareness.

What is a Social?

It’s a Winnipeg tradition where friends come together in a big hall to listen to live music, dance, eat Winnipeg Rye Bread piled with sandwich meat in order to raise money for someone who really needs it. So far Julie’s Socials have brought in more than $40,000.00 benefiting Prostate Support Groups here in Kelowna.

John Delaney has been singing and playing professionally for over 35 years. He has literally played every live venue in Winnipeg in the 80s from Broadways to Benjamins. Hagars to the Big A. He has opened for Platinum Blonde, The Tragically Hip, The Northern Pikes, Tom Cochrane and Sue Medley to name just a few. From 1989 to 1992 John produced and hosted the rock video show ROCKLINE on 13MTN and worked on Much Music and YTV. His band The Indestructibles (based out of Vancouver) recently celebrated 18 years together and currently he is fronting the heavy rock band Madhouse Tactics out of Kelowna..

Vicky Nish grew up in Winnipeg only moving to Alberta to finish high school. She played in many bands in southern Alberta thru the 80’s before moving to Kelowna in 1989.  Now a regular on the Kelowna music scene you can see her perform with Rann Berry’s soul of Motown show and most recently with the Metal Stilleto tribute shows.

Angela Kelman has always maintained she’s a Manitoba girl at heart. After cutting her musical teeth in Winnipeg’s lounges and bars in the 80’s, she moved to Los Angeles and graduated with honours from the vocal program at Musician’s Institute in Hollywood, California. Upon returning to Canada, she became the lead singer and a principal writer for the Award Winning contemporary country group, Farmer’s Daughter. The group enjoyed major Canadian success with top 20 radio songs, Gold albums, numerous CMT videos, TV appearances, extensive international touring as well as multiple Juno, CCMA, and BCCMA Awards.

Jimmy Leguilloux is an award-winning guitarist living in Kelowna. He’s played in tribute concerts celebrating the lives of Gord Downie and Tom Petty. He performs regularly at ski resorts in the winter, festival shows in the summer and clubs year round.  When not performing he spends his time in his own recording studio producing for up and coming artists in the area. He has hosted Whiski Jacks Rock4kids benefiting the Power104 kids care campaign for almost 20 years.

Born and raised in Winnipeg, music historian John Einarson is an acclaimed musicologist, broadcaster, educator, and author of 14 music biographies published worldwide including Neil Young, Randy Bachman, John Kay of Steppenwolf, Ian & Sylvia, The Guess Who, The Byrds, Flying Burrito Brothers, Arthur Lee & Love and Buffalo Springfield.  Soon after witnessing the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show in February 1964, John acquired a guitar and played in several well-known local bands through the 60s and 70s (and a bit in the 90s).  He has played onstage with Neil Young, Randy Bachman, Burton Cummings, jammed with Frank Zappa’s Mothers of Invention, and at age 17 opened for Led Zeppelin and Iron Butterfly before 14,000 people.

Murray Holmes, bass and vocals – honed his chops in the best of music schools, playing live, night after night, on the B.C. and Alberta club circuits. He’s a veteran of the Vancouver music scene for 10 years, and the Thompson/Okanagan for 20+ more. Most recently, he plays bass and sings with the likes of The Salmon Armenians, The Kim Berly Group, The Roland Allen Rock Trio, and the Zamboni Bros who introduced him to an amazing group of musicians from Winnipeg!

Harvey Kostenchuk has toured and recorded with numerous Winnipeg bands including the iconic Hurricane Hannah, Prairie Dog, Hound Dog, Rocki Roulette and Kilowatt.  He’s also played  Shari Ulrich, Valdy, Ferron, Long John Baldry, and Kathy McDonald!
