The View Winery & Vineyard

The View, located at #1-2287 Ward Road, Kelowna, British Columbia is nestled among sprawling vineyards and orchards just 15 minutes from downtown Kelowna. The wine shop and tasting bar is set in the family’s 1920’s era packinghouse, allowing visitors to enjoy the sights, sounds and aromas of wine making in progress.  Wine shop and tastings open seven days a week noon to 5pm.

Pinot Reserve

This Pinot Noir has vibrant aromas of fresh strawberry jam, bright red cherry, warm forest floor and spice. Flavours of black currant and raspberry are complemented by a bright acidity and pleasing earthy tannins.

Pinotage Reserve 2016

Originating in South Africa. Pinotage is a cross between the silky Pinot Noir and the aromatic Cinsaut grape. Pinotage Reserve has an elegant nose with vibrant aromas of dark cherry and spice.  A bright acidity and seamless tannins balance juicy dark berry flavors.  It’s elegant and earthy with a hint of smokiness.  It’s the perfect pairing for anything on the barbecue. It’s a great partner for pasta and pizza and does well with spicy foods.  The Pinotage grape originates in South Africa and is a cross between Pinot Noir and Cinsaut. In South Africa Cinsaut is called Hermitage, hence the name Pinotage

Pinot Noir

Pinotage Rose

The only one of its kind in North America, Pinotage Rosé boasts intense aromatics of strawberry and cotton candy followed by flavours of pink grapefruit and tart cranberry. Dry, crisp and elegant, we call it delicious.

Pair it with poultry, arugula, strawberry and walnut salad, Caprese salad or prosciutto and balsamic flatbread.

Silver Lining Rose

A rosé of Pinotage, Baco Noir and a blend of aromatic whites. This fruity rosé features aromas of strawberry and watermelon followed by a succulent citrus finish.

Pairs with soft cheeses, Asian noodle, quinoa and summer salads, as well as prawns, pork ribs and poultry.

Gewurztraminer 2018

Our Gewürztraminer has intriguing complexity with aromas of ripe tropical fruit, jasmine, orange blossom and honey. Round flavours of lychee, white peach and pear are beautifully balanced by a crisp citrus finish.

Ehrenfelser

Picture a lovely woman in a sundress. Scintillating aromas of white flowers and fruit trifle are followed by succulent notes of white nectarine, pear and passion fruit. Zesty flavours of kiwi and citrus create an elegant, perfectly balanced finish.

 

2017 Pearls Traditional Brut

This elegant, dry, sparkling Riesling has notes of crisp green apple, citrus and subtle minerality which dance on your palate with lively effervescence. For centuries the delicate procession of bubbles in sparkling wines has been referred to as “perlage”. We call it Pearls.

Pairing: Pairs well with celebration! Also pasta with a buttered cream sauce, buttered popcorn, Brie chesses, shrimp or shellfish, stuffed mushrooms and fruit based desserts. Shortbread cookies are a fun and surprising pairing; the acidity in Champagne cuts through the rich butter of the cookie.

Silver Lining Red 2017

A fruit forward, juicy red blend of Pinotage and Pinot Noir. Our crowd pleasing blend!
